The boy and I are on our way to Las Vegas bright and early today! Not only did we need some warmer weather, but we also decided this would be part of our Christmas/early anniversary gift to each other or for ourselves, however you want to look at it. Either way, I'm excited.
For once, I didn't plan every little detail {and it feels pretty good} so if you have any restaurant recommendations, by all means, please share!

Try The Border Grill at Mandalay Bay. Mary Sue Milliken and her partner Susan Fenniger (of PBS's 2 Hot Tamales fame, they also wrote Mexican Cooking for Dummies) opened this outpost of their LA restaurant years ago and it is still hoppin'. Mary Sue is my brother in law's cousin and she could not be more fabulous and talented. The food is spectacular. When I was last in Vegas I think we ate there for 3 different meals!!!! Have Fun!!!

Try Burger Bar in Mandalay or Bobby Flay's restaurant Mesa in Caesars!
Try Mon Ami Gabi inside Paris hotel! The wait is TOTALLY worth it for patio seating. Right across the street from the Bellagio fountains, so you get dinner + a show :) Also, if you can, you MUST see La Reve. It's unreal. Have so much fun!!

If you and your boy love sushi, Yama Sushi is the place to go! This restaurant is a must especially since it's reasonably price for an all-you-can-eat place. The sushi rolls and sashimi are made to order. Here's the site http://www.yamasushivegas.com/.
